Management of ClingFilm
Getting clingfilm to stick down over larger items like roasting tins is really quite difficult. There is one way to get that stuff to behave. Place the tin right by the side of an upright edge such as a cupboard front. Start by taking out about a foot of the film and placing it flat on the upright surface. Then bring the roll and the sheet over the tin. Pull a bit more so that the tin has film overlaps the edge of the tin by about a foot. Then cut the film away from the roll.
Having the film held by the upright surface stops it from wrinkling up as it normally would and then allows the film to be folded under the tin at the cutoff end then sliding the tin forward allows the rest to be folded under.
