Water Management for drip feed systems.

Maybe you are into gardening in containers, and you want to distribute water from one pot to another. (Drip watering systems always put too much or too little water and little pots sometimes dry out mighty quick on a hot day). I find the easiest way is to place the pots on cleaned polystyrene trays in which meat is sold in the supermarket. Link the trays together with Scotchbrite pads with the nerrower edge of each dipping into the water held in the tray. Scotchbrite has an extraordinary ability to carry water. It is one of the best capilliary action media I have ever enountered. If it dries out, it will need wetting but as soon as this is done, the water will flow freely. What is best, it is the heavily used pads which work best so don't throw those pads away when they have done their duty as scourers.
